Costs

 

M.S. and Ed.S. Tuition

Under a special collaborative relationship with NSU, M.S. and Ed.S. BrainSMART students pay a tuition rate that is significantly lower than the standard rate. Effective July 1, 2013, the current rate is $495 per credit for the M.S. and Ed.S. programs, but this amount is subject to change. Tuition and fees are usually adjusted annually.  M.S. and Ed.S. students following the standard sequence will take 12 credits per term for a total of $5,940 each term.

Fees

  • Application Fee - $50 (one time only; non-refundable)
  • Registration and Student Services Fee - $315 per term (no more than $900 annually)
  • Degree Applications - $100 (effective Sept. 1, 2011)


Materials

Most classes include materials available directly through BrainSMART as well as texts you can purchase from a bookstore of your choice.  Be sure to check carefully to confirm that you have all of the materials you need well in advance of the start of each class.  You will not have enough time to order materials if you wait until the first day of class. 

Order materials

Material costs vary by course. Please note that BrainSMART materials are for the exclusive use of the individual purchaser, are required for participation in the BrainSMART program at NSU, and may not be copied, re-sold, shared, or returned.
