The passion that drives this program was ignited when Dr. Donna Wilson was a classroom teacher in Oklahoma who wanted to help all of her students reach more of their unique potential. She had the passion but did not have access to a practical theory, current research, and effective strategies to create learning experiences that would lift all her students.  She, along with Marcus Conyers, created this program with a single mission:  to empower you with resources to make a positive difference in the lives of the real learners in your classroom. What graduates tell us, whether an elementary teacher increasing student achievement or a military instructor who tells us they can be more effective in saving lives, is that this program gives them more power to make a positive difference. 

In a survey of educators who graduated from these programs from April-December 2010 (with more than 200 responses, a 65% response rate):

  • 96% said they would recommend the program to colleagues.
  • 93% consider themselves better teachers.
  • 90% say they are better able to differentiate instruction.
  • 98% have added more brain-based teaching strategies to their teaching practice.
  • 93% reflect more on their teaching practice.
  • 96% are better able to employ strategies for making important knowledge memorable.
