Located on a beautiful 300-acre campus in Fort Lauderdale, NSU has more than 25,000 students and is the largest independent institution of higher education in Florida. Nova Southeastern University is the largest independent institution of higher education in the Southeast, and it is the 7th largest independent institution nationally. The Fischler School of Education and Human Services is one of the most dynamic elements of Nova Southeastern University, providing innovative programs in leadership, teaching and learning, human development and family studies, training and professional development, instructional technology and distance education, and communication sciences and disorders.

Fischler School has the largest graduate school of education at an accredited university (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools), serving more than 12,000 students each academic year located in some 55 cities and 29 states in United States, plus nearly a dozen other countries. FSEHS offers almost all programs via site-based, cluster-based, and online curriculum delivery in a manner that adapts to students’ work schedules and locations. In addition, FSEHS has more than 30 years of experience in distance education and is located in a modern 18-acre campus in North Miami Beach, Florida.
